Herbalife lawyers force article's removal

The article "Herbalife: Panacea or poison?" has been removed temporarily at the request of the author after he was pressured by the multi-level marketing company Herbalife.

The article, severely critical of Herbalife products, was written by William Sukala**, a member of the National Council Against Health Fraud. The article,  which details Herbalife's questionable products, will be back online shortly after Sukala reviews it and makes any changes he deems necessary to prevent a protracted and costly legal action.

**Sukala received his B.S. in Foods and Nutrition with honors and M.S. in Exercise Physiology, both from San Diego State University. He is a member of the American Dietetic Association (ADA), the Sports, Cardiovascular, and Wellness Nutrition Practice Group (SCAN) of the ADA, the California Dietetic Association (CDA), the American College of Sports Medicine, and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
